Crochet Hook: 5.5 mm (US I-9).

Yarn needle.

GAUGE: 14 single crochet = 5”; 13 rows = 4”. CHECK YOUR

GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

(Make 12 squares total; 4 each in A, B and C. Each measures 5” x 5”.)

Chain 15.

Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across, turn.

Row 2: Chain 1, single crochet in each single crochet across, turn – 14 single crochet.

Repeat Row 2 for 14 times more or until piece measures 5”.

Fasten off.

Square 2

(Make 12 squares total, 4 each in A, B and C. Each measures 5” x 10”.)

Chain 15.

Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across, turn.

Row 2: Single crochet in each single crochet across, turn – 14 single crochet.

Repeat Row 2 for 30 times more or until piece measures 10”.
