Crochet Lace Wrap Free Pattern Instructions
Chain 33.
Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th chain from hook and in each chain across; turn – 31 sts.
Row 2: Chain 1, single crochet in first dc, * chain 6, skip next 5 dc, single crochet in next dc; repeat from * across working last single crochet in top of turning chain; turn.
Row 3: Chain 1, single crochet in single crochet, * (single crochet, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, single crochet) all in chain-6 loop – shell made; repeat from * to last single crochet; single crochet in last single crochet;turn – 5 shells.
Row 4: Chain 5 (counts as 1 dc and chain 2), skip first 5 sts,single crochet in 3rd dc of shell, * chain 5, skip next 8 sts, single crochet in next dc; repeat from * to last 5 sts; chain 2, skip next 4 sts, dc in last single crochet; turn.

Row 5: Chain 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in chain-2 space, * 6 dc in chain-5 space; repeat from * to last chain-2 space; 2 dc in chain-2 space, dc in 3rd chain of chain-5; turn – 31 sts.
Row 6: Chain 3, dc in next dc, * chain 1, skip next dc, dc in next 2 dc; repeat from * to last 2 sts, chain 1, skip next dc, dc in top of chain-3; turn – 31 sts.
Row 7: Chain 3, * dc in chain-1 space, dc in next 2 dc; repeat from * across working last dc in top of chain-3; turn.
Repeat Rows 2-7 seven more times, and then repeat
Rows 2-5 once more. Do not turn at end of last row, but chain 1 and work a round of single crochet all around the shawl, working 2 single crochet in each outer corner; join with a slip st in first single crochet. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
