This is a free knitting pattern for a casual sweater options a rough  sew that drapes fantastically once you wear it. For all ability levels and often the proper gift. Instructions

This steps are written for the smallest size. If you want to knit a larger sizes the directions area unit planning to be written therefore ( ).

BACK

**Cast on 100 and one (113-125-137-161-185) sts.

1st row: (Right Sise). *Knit 2. Pattern 2. Repeat from * to last stitch. Knit 1.

Rep last a try of rows seventeen (26-31-31-19-10) times plenty of. forty 3 (43-45-53-97-135) sts.

Sizes Extra Large, Two/Three Extra Large and Four/Five Extra Large only:

First row: {Right Side}  Sl1. K1. psso. Patern to last a try of sts. K2tog.

2nd row: P2tog. Pat to last a try of stitches. Purl 2 together through the back loop.

3rd row: As 1st row.

4th row: Working  in pattern.

Rep last four rows (0-7-13) times plenty of. (47-49-51) sts.

All sizes: Leave rem forty 3 (43-45-47-49-51) sts on a stitch holder.

FRONT Shaping:

Labour from ** to ** as given for the Back. Repeat last one rows 6 (15-20-22-19-10) times plenty of. sixty 5 (65-67-71-97-135) stitches.

Sizes Extra Small /Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large only:

Design the neck:

1st row: (RS). Sl1. K1. psso. Pat across twenty (20-20-23) sts. K2tog. Turn. Leave rem sts on a spare needle. twenty 2 (22-22-25) sts.

2nd row: P2tog. Pat to complete of row.

3rd row: Sl1. K1. psso. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog. Rep second and third rows over again. sixteen (16-16-19) stitches.

Next row: Work even in pat.

Next row: Slip stitch 1. Knit 1. pass slipped stitch over. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog.

Next row: Work even in pat.

Rep last a try of rows 5 (5-5-6) times plenty of. four (4-4-5) sts.

Sizes Extra Small / Small, Medium, and Large only:

Next row: (Right Side). Stichl1. Knit1. pass slipped stitch over. Pattern 2 stitches. 3 stitches.

Next row: Pat 3 stitches.

Next row: Stich l1. Knit 1. . pass slipped stitch over. Knit 1. 2 stitches.

Next row: P2tog. Fasten off.

Size Extra Large only:

With RS of labor facing, slip next seventeen (17-19-17) sts from spare needle onto a st holder. be a district of yarn to rem sts: Sl1. K1. psso. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog. twenty 2 (22-22-25) sts.

2nd row: Pat to last a try of sts. P2togtbl.

With RS of labor facing slip next to ( 23 – 17 ) stitches from spare needle  a stitch holder. be a district of yarn to rem sts: Sl1. K1. psso. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog. (27-34) sts.

2nd row: Pat to last a try of sts. P2togtbl.

3rd row: Sl1. K1. psso. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog.

4th row: P2tog. Pat to last a try of sts. P2togtbl.

5th row: As third row.

Rep second to fifth rows (0-1) time plenty of. 20 sts.

Work one row even in pat.

Proceed as follows:

1st row: (RS). Sl1. K1. psso. Pat to last a try of sts. K2tog.

Design the SLEEVES

Cast on fifty 3 (53-57-57-57-57) sts.

Work 13 rows in Rib Pat as given for Back.

Inc one st each end of next and every following sixth (6th-6th-4th-4th-2nd) row to fifty 9 (73-91-77-103-77) sts, then every following eighth (8th-8th-6th-6th-4th) row to eighty one (85-93-97-105-113) sts.

Cont even until work from beg measures seventeen ½ ( 18 – 18 – 17 ½ -17 – 16 ½ ) inches [ 44.5 ( 45.5 – 45.5 – 44.5 – 43 – 42 cedi meters ], ending with a Wrong Side row.

Design the raglans:

Keep cont of the pattern, eliminate 6 (7-8-10-12-14) sts beg next a try of rows. sixty 9 (71-77-77-81-85) sts.

Dec one st each end of needle on next and every following altitude row to twenty seven (27-29-17-19-7) sts.

Sizes XS/S, M, L, Xl, and 2/3XL only:

Dec one st each end of needle on next 3 rows.

Work one row even.

Rep last four rows 3 (3-3-1-1) time(s). 3 (3-5-5-7) sts.

All sizes: Leave remain three ( three – five – five – seven – seven ) stitches on a stitch holder.

FINALIZE out knitting pattern

Pin garment things to measurements. cowl with a damp material, effort material to dry.

Neckband: Sew garment seams, effort left back garment open.

With RS of labor facing, K3 (3-5-5-7-7) from left sleeve st holder. get and knit fourteen (14-17-17-17-19) stitches down left front neck edging. Knit 17 ( 17 – 19 – 17 – 23 – 17 ) from front stitch holder, dec a try of sts equally across. get and knit fourteen (14-17-17-17-19) sts up right front neck edge. Knit three ( three – five – five – seven – seven ) from the right sleeve stitch holder. Knit 43 ( 43 – 45 – 47 – 49 – 51 ) from back st holder, dec 3 sts equally across. eighty-nine ( 89 – 103 – 103 – 115 – 115 ) stitches.

1st row: ( Wrong Side ). Knit 1. * Purl 1. Knit 1. Repeat from * to complete of row.

Rep last row for Seed St Pat 3 times plenty of. eliminate in pat.

Sew left back garment and neckband seam. Sew aspect and sleeve seams, effort aspects open below markers for facet slits.
