Poncho Knitting Pattern Deep Blue Color Materials

• Bernat Soft Bouclé (140 g/5 oz) Sizes XS/M (L/2XL-3XL/5XL) – a pair of (2-3) balls
• Knitting needles: size vi metric linear unit (U.S. 10) or size required to get gauge.
• Optional: fifty ins [127 cm] length of ½ in. [1.5 cm] wide ribbon for drawing string.

Gauge:

Fifteen sts and twenty two rows = four ins [10cm] in stocking st.

Measurements:

To suit bust mensuration

Extra Small/Medium: twenty eight – 38” stand for -> [71 – ninety six.5 cedi meters]

Large/2Extra Large: forty – 50” stand for ->  [101.5 – 127 cedi meters]

3Extra Large/5Extra Large: fifty two – 62” stand for ->  [132 – 158 cedi meters]

Finished length between neck edge and purpose

Extra Small/Medium: 17” stand for ->  [43 cedi meters]

Large/2-Extra Large: nineteen ¾” stand for ->  [50 cedi meters]

How to knit instructions

Cast on forty six (54-60) sts.

1st row: (RS). Knit.

2nd row: K3. Purl to last three sts. K3.

Rep last a pair of rows till work from beg measures fifty one (53-55) ins [129.5 (135.5-139.5) cm], ending a WS row.

Work three rows in garter st. remove knitwise (WS).

 

Finishing:

Sew stitch edge to aspect of cloak (see Diagram).

Ribbon drawstring: Deginning at center front, thread ribbon on neck edge. Tie a bow at center as shown in image.

Optional: Yarn Drawstring: Cut a pair of strands of yarn sixty ins [152 cm] long.

Knit one finish and braid strands along. Knot different finish. Beginning at center front, thread drawing string on neck edge.
